great spot near parks and unique attractions for weekend strolls

staying here was fantastic since it was just a pleasant walk to the beautiful Elkhorn Slough Safari, where I enjoyed watching wildlife, and I couldn’t get enough of the quick stroll to the charming Castroville Japanese School to soak in some culture.

The location made it easy for a couple's getaway along the coast, but cleanliness was an issue upon arrival. Having to clean the room ourselves before settling in wasn't ideal, although the bed offered great comfort and the overall ambiance was quiet for restful nights.

Positive, Large, spacious rooms with comfy beds. Had a nice quiet night despite facing the street. The place was well-equipped with a microwave and fridge, which was handy for our short stay. 😌

the coastal valley inn had a large, spacious deluxe king room with a comfy bed. it was ideally located near the coast, making our trip enjoyable. the staff was friendly and accommodating, which added a nice touch to our stay.

Not ideal for everyone but homey for a couple

Location was quite central for our travels along the coast. I found the heater tricky, it either blasted heat or was cool, but it kept us cozy at night.

It wasn’t inexpensive but the quiet surroundings did help us relax.

great shower pressure

It was just a well-suited match for a quick weekend visit in Castroville with value for money. The shower had great water pressure which was a nice surprise after a long day. Bring your own towels as they might not have enough for everyone.

The Deluxe King Room was pretty spacious, which was nice for just one night. The bed was super comfy. Only downside, they didn’t have daily housekeeping, so we had to manage on our own. Overall, it worked out for our trip.
